Hot Stone Massage Heated basalt stones are used in conjunction with oil or lotion to massage the body. The treatment promotes increased circulation, tissue repair and rejuvenation. The warmth of the stones combined with the effects of the massage promotes relaxation both physically and mentally. Seated Thai Massage This massage technique is performed in a seated position over clothing and combines the benefits of massage with stretching. A gentle but effective technique that gains great results with all client groups. Mum to be Massage An effective treatment for relaxation and to relieve pregnancy aches and pains. Only performed once the client is in their 2nd Trimester/ over 12 weeks pregnant, preferably following the first scan and with midwife or GP's consent. Manicure and Pedicure Treatment for the hands and feet involves; cuticle work to aid nail growth and repair, filing to improve or correct nail shape, exfoliation to remove damaged cells, massage to promote circulation and polish to enhance the overall appearance of the nail. The treatment itself often provides a sense of relaxation. Beloved Bee uses O.P.I and China Glaze nail varnishes with a wide range of colours that give an excellent shine and longer lasting finish. Hot Wax & Massage The hands or feet are dipped into hot molten wax, they are then wrapped in toweling until the wax cools and hardens. Once the wax is removed the upper or lower limb is massaged. The heat and deep moisturising effects of the wax along with the massage improves colour and texture of the skin and increases circulation this can help ease painful joints and dry sensitive skin. This treatment is especially good for degenerative joint conditions such as osteoarthritis. Holistic Facial Massage A facial provides a deep cleanse and restores the natural moisture balance of the skin, improving texture and colour by increasing circulation and boosting skin rejuvenation. Beloved Bee use Eve Taylor products for our facials which are a skin care range based on unique essential oil blends. The therapist will assess the clients skin before choosing the appropriate product. The products do not contain Mineral oil, Lanolin, SD alcohol, or Artificial fragrance and are safe to use during pregnancy. A mini facial includes deep cleanse, tone, exfoliation and moisturise whereas a holistic facial will involve a moisturising massage at the end of the treatment this is an excellent way to improve the skin condition and provide overall relaxation.
